HEAVY METAL

Morning guys,well I am trying to post this with Alfie on my lap he has got so affectionate bless him we are still have constant visits to the vets,with his ear. Just wish it would go away hate seeing him like this. Well my Daughter moved out at the weekend which means I have my craft room back. Oh boy have I missed it,so I have been up to my eyes in moving all my stuff back in there moving furniture its nearly done just got few of Lisa's things to get into her new house.

So I am a day late with my DT post,sorry guys,did you know the craft Den was,5 years old on Saturday wish I could have gone,to meet Hels love her work. Anyway the challenge this week,is heavy metal,so I made this canvas,using graphic 45 papers,and some metal,leaves,bits of an old,necklace, and the name,People is also metal so here it is.

The papers are graphic 45 ladies,Diary,I have used some gilding flakes,distress ink,s and metal leave,necklace,and the title is metal too. Mail it

Hi guys before I tell you about this weeks challenge I have a big apology to make,to all my followers.
Firstly I have left crafty-emblies,due to personal reasons,but am hoping to stay with the other DT's I am on,if they will still have me.
  
My wee Alfie has been really sick,he had to have an operation,on his ear,as it nearly burst,then he had a terrible re action to the medication they put him on. So I spent many worrying nights sitting up with him,then again I had to take him back to the vets,this weekend as still not right. But hopefully now,they have sorted him out,he is still on medication.
Then I have a had some family issue's to deal with too,then the wedding,and I have not been feeling to great either just so tired all the time,which is really upsetting me sleeping like I do.
But the one good thing that has happened is that I am having a brand new kitchen after 30 years wooooooooooooo
so cannot wait for the new,kitchen flooring,tiles,new cooker washing machine fridge,window,the lot.
So that is keeping me,going for now.
Right so there you have it my sincere apologies to all of you that are kind enough to follow me,and leave me a comment,you guys have no idea how much this is helping at the moment.

I also did some colouring in,too,which helped to take my mind of some stuff,an image I have had for ages now,so here is that too,xx

Mothers Day

Hi guys,
well over at creative craft challenge the theme is mothers day and this week we are sponsored by crafty ribbons .

This is what I made using,the cd from my craft studio.

Everything is printed from the CD,then I have added ribbon,and then matted a layered onto gold mirror board. CD is called only way with words.

DT Time, and some News

Before I tell you about this week's DT post just wanted to let you all know my daughter is getting married on the 5th October this year. So I am busy trying to design her invites,favour boxes,evening invites and believe you me Lisa is so fussy. So its all go just wanted to share that with you all.


Morning guys well wanted to make sure I did not forget to post this today so I have scheduled this one.
Over at Anything goes,this week the theme is,manly so for the man or son in your life why not get your thinking caps on and see what you come up with,as we all know how hard men's cards are.

Well this is what I came up with and its the first time I have ever made a stepper card just never been able to get the hang of them and this one was already cut for me so shows how daft I am,

                             
So there you go my first stepper,I covered the card with some kraft card,then I stamped,the ruler onto some white card added that to one of the steps. Then i stamped the ruler again and cut it up and matted onto kraft card. Then I stamped the chain, etc.,onto Kraft card on the side,then stamped the clocks and hands and then cut out and placed on the side of the card.  The back is again stamped,on to card then cut out.

So there you go,that is my man's card hope too see what you all come up with if Alfie leaves my side for a minute that is,he is on my lap now as I am typing this ,tell you I have never known such a faithful,and loyal dog in all my life he sure is a great comfort.

The bubbles,are just drops of glossy accents,then just added a ribbon,some card and cosmic shimmer pink pearl drops.

So Late my apologies to my team mates

Hi guys

Well this is my late post for anything goes challenge blog,I am so sorry guys this should have gone out on Tuesday the day I was out,with yet another app.  My memory is terrible,seems to be getting worse so please accept my sincere apologies,guys I would never do this on purpose.
Anyway enough of my excuses here is my creation for the challenge which is vintage shabby chic,

Papers are graphic 45 ladies diary and i have created a card box frame cut some flowers from the paper and also some die cut leaves,and flourish,edged with,pearl paint and a pin I made,once again so sorry to my Team mates.

DT Time

Hi guys,well I am hoping this will post for me as I will be at the hospital having some x- rays done,and no idea how long I will be.

Over at creative craft challenge the theme this week is,hugs and kisses,and we were given some images,to play with,and this is what I have come up with,
I have used my pro markers,die cut a frame,and embossed it,then cut out some flowers,leaves,and added some pins.  We are sponsored this week by Robyn Fetish,designs,

Well I have had some time this week,to play before all my hospital app this week,so knew I would not get the chance,so here is what I have been up too.

This card has been made using papers from a very talented lady on FB Cindy the image is from oh la la CD memories,I have cut into the papers,to place the picture. Then just added some,seam binding,flowers sentiment,and some cosmic shimmer pearl drops.
I changed the colour of the photo,to match the paper.

Then I finally remembered some of the stuff in craft artist,and again I have used Cindy's papers,lush,and one of her images,the Indian and made this,which I am going to frame as I love Indians they are really special no idea why but I have always been drawn to them.

Hi guys well its that time again DT time over at anything goes challenge blog and this weeks theme is Monochromatic,so this is what I have done I was late with my card as my memory since the accident is just awful so,my apologies,to Tamara and the team.

This is an 8 by 8 card, flowers,and bunting I cut from my cricut,card is printed from a CD, adhesive stones,from Create and Craft,and the pins I made,greeting is from Kanban. Then finished with some ribbon.

Morning guys hope you are all safe and well,we have had,loads of snow here,been unable to get out at all,but now it is slowly going.  Just hope we do not get any more,

Well I have been busy with hospital app's and trips to the vets with Alfie,but thankfully Alfie is now on the road to recovery,and loving the snow bless him.

I have made this calender using the ladies diary graphic 45.

DT Time

Hi guys,well hope you are all okay with the snow,I should have had an app this morning but had to cancel it due too wear we live cant get out,and as I am not that confident driving yet,do not want to risk anything so staying at home in the warm.
Alfie is sick at the moment bless him he has had a rough time of it,bless his heart,so both of us are going to cuddle up on the sofa today,

Right enough of my waffle I just want to say sorry to Judie and my team mates at http://crafty-emblies.blogspot.co.uk/ as should have posted this yesterday,so here it is finally today.
ITS ONE FOR THE MEN,

I have painted the frame,with grey,paint then cut out a picture think its a kanban one, applied that,into the frame,then took one of the cars,painted it,red and black,then added a sentiment.

Love these embellishments from Judie they are great to paint,add,embossing powders too etc,and are lovely and sturdy and so well made too.
