Home made texture paste

Morning guys, hope you are all safe and well.
Bless your hearts for all your kind messages,I am now getting some help, counselling,so hope things will improve,  I know I cant change what has happened but hopefully, this will help me to deal with it.

Right enough of my stuff last thing I want to do is put you guys off.
I made my own texture paste and was so chuffed how it turned out. All you need is white pva glue, and cornflour or you can use baby powder. Just mix together until you get a consistency to apply to your stencils,so it coats the back of your spoon say.  Not runny, just try experimenting,as if you make it slightly, thinner it cracks, which is cool.

Well here they are so you can see for your self.  have a great day guys massive hugs to you all.

love Cheryl xxxxx

You can, color the paste too, this one I made the paste first then added some silver, mica powders to it,top one I waited for it to dry then added gilding wax to it.

Wowee Cheryl, what a feast for the eyes, such wonderfully inspirational artwork.

P
lLus a great tip for the paste, I have it on my list for Stamperama Sunday but will be giving this a try first.

Chin up and keep going, sometimes we surprise ourselves in the face of adversity - presently sitting waiting for my fourth weekly treatment then just one to go, but have to keep positive.

Take care my friend,

B x

First your work is incredible - the homemade texture paste is a smashing idea and as it is so expensive I really think I should give it a go. I make my own ModgePodge from PVA glue and water. Love both makes but the flowers on the second card are delicious!!! Bravo kid!
Hang in there Cheryl - I am on anxiety meds and still have anxiety. I find reading helps me a lot. It takes me into another world for a while and relaxes me.
With much love,
Sandy xx
