Altered,Frame,and my journal

Hi guys well like most of the country we are still covered in snow, and apparentley we have more to come oh damm stuff cant deal with this yes I know its great to have a white xmas, but oh my how about family. Not sure Lisa will be able to make it for xmas, she only moved out a couple of months ago and so wanted her here xmas day, bless her heart.
But nothing we can do about it,anyway I have taken a couple of pictures of my back garden,
I have also altered this, frame which I bought ages ago from the craft barn.
I have used, metal then embossed it,then added some embellishments to it,the flowers I have painted with aged gold,Eco Friendly paint.along with the metal charms,I have used Tims, texture hammer on the hearts too.
Finally I have started a journal page ready for the new year I have done the cover for it.
Stay safe and warm guys if you have to go out in this awful weather, hugs cheryl xx

This is my journal page,

My frame,

Papers used on my journal are 7 gypsies, black paint, chipboard letters, and padlock, from my stash the swirl is one of Tims. The picutre in the frame is from the same book I made my notelet set from, but the frame is about,2 inch deep so what I did to make the picture look as though it is closer added some, acetate to it at an angle so it looks closer. Sorry cant explain it,but hopefully you can see it from the pictures. I finished with Stickles gold glitter. Link to the craft barn is HERE they are also doing free postage untill the 20th December, too
Will add challenges later.

We've had some more snow too Cheryl. My daughter couldn't get into her car this morning at all.
it looks pretty in a picture but it's so inconvenient for travelling.
Oh Yes, lovely work you're showing today. I especially love that photo frame. I so admire your talent and ideas.
Love and Hugs xx

Hi Cheryl
Thought I would log on and have a quick chat with my friends - love this frame with the metal texture and I've had a look back at what I have missed recently too. You create such beautiful things and I miss popping in so regularly, but keep it up so there's plenty for me to see when I can get back.
If I don't get to visit again this week, have the most wonderful Christmas, and hopefully enjoy having the family together.
Take care, keep warm and well. Luv {brenda} xoxox

Morning Hun

the snow looks very pretty but understand your frustration. Just think of next years Christmas cards and how you can use your own pictures in them. Beautiful work especially on the frame which looks wonderful, going to enjoy these peeks at your journal that you share with us.

If it helps I woke to another snow shower and watched it settle I've got to get out today not sure I can even get the car out of the garage! XOXO Zoe

Your altered frame is amazing! Love the embossed metal. Looks like a boutique item!
We've got a lot of snow here in Ohio too. All the back roads are still covered an icy. The snow is pretty to look at, but it's not my favorite season at all!
