Dt time, and a tutorial for the crackle effect backgroud

Hi guys,
Well here we are again with another challenge over at Creative inspirations, and the theme this week is easel cards.Which was choosen by our DT buddie Emma.
Our sponsers this week, are the lovely simon says, and also we would like to welcome, bunnyzoes also as our sponser this week

So that is a nice and easy one for you,I have used one of my fav stamps, colored with my pencils,
Papers,SU stitching,ribbon,Kanban sentiment,pearls,and MS punch,
so if you would like to join us over at creative inspirations this week we would love to see you.
Next a tutorial for the crackle effect background. This is for you hun patriziawitha and no you are not daft this lady makes the most beautiful cards so you stop it hun no one who crafts is daft,or stupid okay. Also one of the many wonderful, friends I have made in blog land too. okay lecture over he he

The paint I have used,is pots of sample, you get from DIY stores, mine were in the bargain bin just 59p,use matt not gloss. Also use cheap PVA glue not the expensive one you use for your, work.
I have tried again to do the painting, using these paints, which are better than the ones,I used before. I am still patently waiting for,the shenna, douglas paints to arrive,25th of Feb I ordered these,so I hope they get here soon so I can try, this with her paints.
This is better than the last one not much but a bit better.
One more thing I bought this new sugar nellie stamp from funky kits, she is called Molly,I have kept this card quite plain, think it looks better this way.

DP's SU,Prisma, and SU pencils, paper soft, colbolt blue pen, which you can buy HERE at the craft barn. Love this stuff,as it keeps, its shape and height too. button,Flourish, and sentiment.
challenges,
Charismacardzs,easel cards,
barelymine birthday cards
littlemissmuffet designer papers

Morning Cheryl,
Just been catching up on your lovely blog !Time seems to have escaped me these days, but hope to get back on track soon.
Thats a beautiful card, love the colours !
Great tutorial too, l did a few wooden boxes, using this technique, they have come out really well, just need to paint them now using the 'one stroke ' method.Loved what sheena Douglas did on CC Tv. She certainly simplified the method !
Hope you and yours are well.wishing you a lovely day !
hugs

great cards Cheryl, love your crackling, looks fab x

How kind of you to share Sheena's PVA crackle technique like this. Its the old two step but instead of buying a 'special' crackle formula you use watered down glue. The neat glue works as well and I usually paint the second coat of paint directly onto the wet glue. Its all to do with the different drying times that makes the cracks. XOXO Zoe
