Mini Books

Morning guys,
First I want to appologise if I have not got round to your blog yet,I am busy painting my daughters, room and I ache from top to bottom. Plus been daft enough to have been out in the garden cutting down, bushes and things too but with the weather being so glorious I just want to get it done.
Today i am attempting the ceiling in my daughters, old room then wallpapering then painting, just hope I have the strength to get it done,so much to do in this house the hall stairs landing, need doing badly then my craft room which will be next plus my hubbies, room too.
So if I do not get around to all of you please forgive me,but will do as much as I can.
Right I have just made these 2 mini books, made with one piece of 12 by 12 paper then I have cut some mountboard, for the covers. The first book I have distressed the edges, with old paper, then added the same ink to the, ribbon, and string too, then added some tags inside.

The paper with the lasies on,is from the pink paislee colection. The other one is made the same papers are from Kasier, the bird society DP's. With the piece of mountboard I had left I made a bookmark for this one too. Just love making these books, they are such fun to do and make great gifts too, with lots of pages inside and all made from one piece of 12 by 12 piece of paper.

Also if you still want to enter my craft barn Candy, the link is HERE the chance to win,£20 to spend at the craft barn, and also there is a prize for,my other blogging buddies who live abroad.
My candy will end on the 1st April.

Challenges

Your mini books are gorgeous Chery, I love them both. You seem to be really busy just now! Sometimes I don't know where the time goes and I can hardly keep up with blogging and visiting my favourite blogs!

I'm going to a crop after work tomorrow and one of the others asked what I was taking. Jokingly I said my knitting cos I hate sewing up and maybe I'd get it done there. She thought that was a good idea so I've pressed it ready to sew up. It's for my grandkids so if I don't get it done maybe the jumper and cardie won't fit!!

Kat xx
