DT time at creative Craft challenge, distress, vintage

Hi guys,
well over at creative craft this week the theme is,distress vintage and the girls have come up with some, amazing creation this is another team I am lucky to be part of great bunch of girls and all so talented too.
Our sponsers this, time are, Lily of the Valley, craftyindividuals, and melljens designs.

So here is what I came up with,

I decided to make a mini, clipboard, using a piece of mount board, crafty individuals poppy, which I painted, with my paints, then decoupaged to add some depth.  Hand painted some more of the leaves onto the board.  Matted onto mirror card, added some, torn paper to the bottom, then used string,to adhere the metal sentiment.  Then just distressed the edges, with old paper distress inks.  Cut some pieces of paper, for the back, and attached with a clip.

So if you get time we would love too see your creations over at Creatative craft, thank you.

I also had a play with some more of sheena's paints, this time I bought,2,round paper machie,tins,99p,for 2 in one of our local shops. I used the crackle technique on these,

All the leaves on the side, and all the swirls I have just guessed no stamps at all, this time I used, the rose stamps, and one of the sweetpea stamps.  I have then, added some inks,to give it the distress, worn look and used it to put my sheena douglas stamps into.
Just want to tell you about a new challenge blog that is about to start, they are looking for DT members so if any ofyou are interested, please click this link HERE to find out more.  A bit about the blog is below.

Just three short months ago Julia started the Craft shop she has been dreaming of for quite some time the shop is http://www.craft-room.co.uk/ have you been there yet? The shelves are stocked with lots of goodies and new lines are being introduced all the time. A few weeks after opening Julia appointed Zoe as Design Team and together they started to dream up a few ideas and plans. The time has now come to start a new challenge so here it is.

We very much hope that this challenge will attract people from all sorts of crafting be they Cute, Clean and Simple, Grungy, Traditional Floral one and all are welcome here.

To make this work we need your help! We are looking for a design team which will be made up of crafters of all sorts. All we will ask of our team is that they will make a sample for at least 75% of the challenges, we know life can make demands sometimes that mean we cannot always be crafting. Assist in the choice of challenges and promote the challenge.
So if you could spread the word I know that Julia and Zoe would be so grateful thanks guys. Link to the shop is HERE the blog is HERE
