movable parts, and the start of my journal

Morning guys well yesterday it was raining most of the day,but today we are back to sunshine, and gorgeous blue skies.
Well this week over at creative craft challenge the theme is movable parts,we are working with Stitchy bear images, this week and the sponsers are, Stitchy bear stamps offering some digital images, Craftyindividuals offering papers and a stamp. And B craft offering some templates,so lots to play for again this week.
Our Challenge this week is Movable Parts

So this is the image I choose,I have decoupaged 2 of the images, and added onto a marriane die, then embossed the background. Then taken, the same image and made it smaller and added it to the corner with some red ribbon. Then for my movable part I have made a tiny pocket were there is a heart tag which you can remove. So lets see what you can come up with look forward to seeing your creations.

As I have said I really want to start a journal, and Dawn has been really helpfull bless her,but saw this in the craft stamper how to cut a recess out of an old book.
This took ages as this book was really thick, but think its come out okay. I have not done the recess in the inside of the book,I decided to make it the focal front of my book.
I have used up all my old scraps, and things to make this as I have not got much,of my altered stuff left as I am trying to save for my daughters wedding next year.
So I just used the rest of my gold, embossing powders ,scraps of paper from my drawer, and anything else I could find.  This is a first for me,got so messy but it was great fun,and think it came out okayish, this is just the cover got lots more to do,but thought I would show you what I have done so far.

So there it is,got to put some title or something on the front, just need to get some more bits, and pieces . I used a Tim Holtz stamp, then stamped it onto some, card then added some distress ink around the edges. Then just stuuck it into the recess of the book.  Then just added the butterflies. I never done anything like this before and I loved it.
well have a great day everyone hope to pop over too see you soon. Hugs Cheryl xxx
