A GD Spot,

Hi Guys, before I lost my little man Rex
Dear Dawn asked me to be her GD on her blog,Dawn's Crafty Place,
I had been, making this creation when Rex was still alive.   when I was making it and he would sit and watch me for hours never moving once, bless him so this is a way is a tribute to him.

This took me a week to make,so here it is in all its glory, and I would also like to say a special thank you to each and every one of you for the lovely kind messages you have left on here, and for all the lovely emails, and the phone calls, from Sarah, and dear June, thank you girls so much.
You lovely blogging friends have really been helping me through my darkest days this week so thank you all.

I have called this the Market Place,Michelle, will know why,I hope. This is as much for her just to say thank you for coming to my rescue just in time,
The things I have used are from the lost and found range,Tim Holtz the Cardboard stickers, the tiny furniture is from a dolls House and I have made the, shell out of the steam punk papers from the my craft studio CD then I re in forced them with the covers from the lost and found book.
The tiny books, are from my dolls house too apart from the green ones,I made those,I have decorated the roof with the stickers, and the letters are also from the lost and found book.

You can see more of what I used and more about me if you would like to read it,the link is HERE,
Thank you Dawn for asking me this really is special.

Hi Hunny Bunny: I don't know what to say: I have never in my life seen something like this...where does one get the idea for this? How do you come so far out of the box (and I am pretty far out of it) to create this? It is beyond outstanding Cheryl. And I love that you have recycled your doll house stuffs to give to that special friend "who came to your rescue." It is one of a kind and I hope you find some professional magazines to enter this into. I would DEFINITELY enter this into scrapbook news under vintage. They'd steal it up in a minute. Smiles just for you today, Samara

This is amazing Cheryl. There's so much detail, I keep seeing something different. What a lot of work you've put into it, no wonder it took a while to make.

I'm so sorry to hear about your lovely little Rex. I've been having my usual internet problems so I've just read about him. What a gorgeous little doggie and what a long and happy life he's had with you. I'm sure he gave you a lot of happiness. It's horrible to lose a beloved doggie. In May 2010 we lost our Cocker, Lucy who was nearly 15 and then in Nov 2010 we lost our chocolate Lab, Maddy who was only ten and a half. That was when we got our two black idiot Labs and in spite of the mischief they get up to we wouldn't be without them!

Stay strong and enjoy your good memories of Rex.

Take care,

Kat xx
