A bit of DIY?????????

Hi Guys,
I took my little Alice for her usual walk, and when I am walking I usually get these mad ideas pop into my head, and I just love those, configuration boxes, and I thought well surely I could make one.
So I got home, went into the shed found some bits,of wood got out the saw, nails etc. and started to bang, cut and make a mess.
Now no laughing, here is the piece before I started to play with it,

As you can see I am not an expert ha ha far from it,now this is the piece after I got to play with it.

I sanded the whole piece, then I pained,it let that dry, then added some of Tim's tissue tape, used distress inks, and used a cog on the top of the box,to create the mask.
The sides I added some dress forms, sent to me by crafting buddies, added some crackle paint, also to the cog on the other side, the charms,I dyed using my alcohol inks. Then I covered the inside, too using again some distress inks. The clock is from the lost and found, book then I just added the hands, and a small cog and fitted with a brad. Then added bits, and pieces, and all the metal charms are coloured with my inks.
The bird charm was sent to me by Tracey, thanks Hun,and the cool bee and clock is from Michelle's,shop love these charms,so cool. The lost and found, and the word charm are also from Michelle's shop.
The crackle paint, you can get from the Craft den.
Well hope you like my bit of DIY did take a while to do,but oh how I loved getting messy,he he
See you all soon Love Cherylxxxxxx
June Hun,hope you like this I rang June on the day I was doing this, and we had such a good laugh,
