butterflies, flowers ,and a bit of steam, punk

Morning guys, hope you are all okay,Well I got my blood results back, and turns out my anaemia is worse my white blood cell count is low,and another name she mentioned about my blood but cant remember what it was.
So she has given,me something for the rash, taken more blood for further tests.
So its just wait, and see what happens next I just want this rash to go,and to feel like my old self again so hope something happens soon.
Before I show my cards just had some News,I took my cards to a shop in town, left them with the lady as the owner was sick,I got a phone call on Friday to say he just loved them to bits and was really impressed with the style and quality and wants to sell them in his shop.  I was over the moon,so I am meeting with him on Tuesday to discuss details, gosh still pinching myself my cards being sold,
Okay shut up Cheryl and get on with your post.
Right over at Creatalicious this month the theme is Butterflies, and Flowers,I was luck enough to win Mina's Candy of 2 stampavie stamps and as I adore SK I had to have 2 of the new ones. So here it is,
Thanks again Mina Hun,love these stamps.

Image is coloured with Distress inks, skin spun sugar, and tattered rose,Top fired brick, and barn door. trousers broken china, and chipped sapphire. Hat is mustard seed. Papers are all from my stash the butterflies are from a CD,changed the colours in the programme to match the card then cut them out. Flowers, and rest from my stash. Sentiment is from a CD.
So if you would like to play at Creatalicious this month using butterflies and flowers, the link is HERE

Now its my son's Birthday on Wednesday gosh he will be 29,so I made him this card hope he likes it Gary is a massive Norwich City fan,so I did it on,yellow and green, always make him a Football card but this year wanted to make something that bit different,so here it is.

I have used the steam punk CD from Serif, the photo is an old one taken a couple of years ago I look awful,I have decoupaged the balloons, then matted and layered the paper onto gold card, then finished with border stickers to the outside. I have also done the inside of the card, just using the same paper but faded right down, then just added another balloon.
So,hope you like it,just hope Gary likes it too,as he will need cheering up after yesterdays results,he he,
Thank you to everyone who continues to support me,with the most amazing comments and feed back I so appreciate it so much.
Thanks to my new followers too,and once again thanks Mina for the stamps love them to bits.
Oops nearly forgot,I won some of Gerri's fab candy too, thanks Hunny, cant wait to get my hands on that and start playing. Bless you both love hugs Cheryl xx

Wow Cheryl.... both are fabulous cards... but I think I lean towards the first one!! But then again, the second one is perfect for your son!

Sorry to hear you're still under the weather... hope they sort you out soon, and that they can give you some iron or whatever to sort it out.

And WELL DONE on selling through a shop! Nothing quite like that feeling is there? I used to live on the Isle of Wight and sell through an Arts Centre... had to pinch myself all the time!

Cheryl these cards are absolutely stunning. I love the colours in the first one and how everything matches on the card itself and that pretty image. And your son's card is a really great male card, I'm sure he'll love it especially when you've made it just for him.

I can't believe I missed your journal the other day, it's amazing. It must have taken you ages to do but it's definitely worth all your hard work.

I hope the docs are getting to the bottom of your illness now and the medication clears up your rash. No wonder you've been feeling bad.

But wonderful news about a shop selling your cards. You really deserve this, your cards are gorgeous.

Take care,
