Travel/Around the world. And some Steam punk, yeah

Morning guys ,well the weather here is yuck as normal so Alfie has just fallen asleep on my feet again, bless him.
I had to go out yesterday to the bank, and when I came back he had been sick,he went mad when I got home, crying, and oh boy he just would not let me out of his sight for a second.
Even when he calmed down,he was playing with his toys, and he kept his eye on me the whole time.
Have no idea what I am going to do as Friday night,my daughter and I are off to the Theatre,as she bought me tickets, ages ago to see Birds of a Feather,so Geoff will have to look after him,he he good luck with that one ,.

Right over at Anything goes, this week, the theme is,Travel,or around the world,so this was time for me to get back to my love of,steam punk, and here is what I created,
This is a piece which I created in,Serif, everything is ,printed from the steam punk CD,I have just added Time Holtz, ticket, flying high, stamp, then decoupaged the balloons, boat, and the man. The paper the man is on,is also from the CD,
So if you would like to join us this week over at Anything goes,we would love too see you the link is HERE.

Next I was lucky enough to have a lovely lady visit my blog, saying she liked my work,so I went over to thank her,and oh wow,am I glad I did as she is the most amazing designer of digital stamps, and her team well, talk about blow you away there work is just incredible.
She has a challenge running at the moment, which is anything goes, but the bonus,is too use Metal,I had to buy one of her images as oh they are right up my street,so this is what I have created using, the steam punk Face.
The image has been coloured with my,polychrome pencils,I have tried to make her eye misty,if that makes sense.
I have then, used some Tin foil,to cut out the die, then added some chain, and Tim Holtz tags,to the holes in the die. Then I have added one of my husbands,Nuts, from his, work box and then placed a Tim Holtz facet on the other eye. Then matted the whole thing onto,a doily, and Kanban card. Oh Also added some tiny clock hands at the top.

Well I just loved, this so much,I decided to make another creation this time using an 8 by 8,piece of Chipboard to create my piece of art.
Once again I have, used Tin Foil to create the, die, added some more of the same charms,I have distressed the doily, with old paper,Then added Some of Tims, papers, behind, again added another nut to the eye, cards I got from a Christmas cracker, which I too have inked, the finger is from one of my sons, old bits and bobs he used to keep in a bag. Then I have finally added the large metal flower and a button, which I found in my stash.
So there you go oh tell you I so enjoyed, our Challenge, this week, and then to have this amazing image to play with too has really made my week,as I so miss, not getting messy, and playing with all my inks, and things.

So I would like to enter this into http://artwithnoboundaries.blogspot.co.uk/ CS designs,as the theme as I said is anything goes, with the bonus round of,metal.
If you would like to play over at Anything goes, the link is HERE
Once again guys, bless you all for the wonderful, comments, you leave and for your continued support Alfie can go out tomorrow,on his lead with Alice so that should be fun,so here is hoping he will be sleeping a lot more yeah right,
Big Hugs Cherylxxxxxx

Cheryl, these are fabulous as always! So much wonderful details! I learned with one of my dogs that really got upset when I left, that when I did return, to ignore him until he calmed down and then I pet him. They say when you pet, hug, love a dog who is all distressed, you reinforce the behavior. For me that did not work real well, but worth the try. Have fun Friday! We are going away for the weekend and we have never left our pets :-( My daughter's boyfriend is going to come to the house, so I sure hope it will be OK!
