Bits And pieces

Morning guys, hope you are all well,I have been so busy last few days,Alice,Bit Alfie,on Tuesday, god tell you I was horrified I managed to pull her off before she had another go,thought Alfie was okay, but he kept, whining so had to take him to the Vet.
He was okay, she had just bruised his ribs, luckily,so he has been rather quite last few days, bless him, anyway enough of me,
Here are some commission cards I made, for some customers, they wanted something, not too fussy,so hope they like these.

First I would like to tell you about a new blog, that has them most amazing, candy on offer right up my street, they have the most wonderful, wooden embellishments to offer as candy and oh I can tell you they are going to be selling,so well,as they are so detailed and I must get some of these.
HERE is the link if you would like,to take a look.Told you they were cool.

The papers I designed in,Serif, then I cut the shape to make a smaller card on the top, again with the papers,I had made, then edged with some, pink ink, added, ribbon, and sentiment I made with serif. The,stones,on the top are also digital, inside the smaller card is the sentiment, and the inside is the same paper.
The ribbon,at the bottom,I bought off ebay its gorgeous, and just love it,

The first card I have also made in Serif, also making the backgrounds, just added some ribbon, and butterfly.I have just added some stardust glitter to the cards too.
This is something different,I got a lovely free, download on face book, and I just love this kit,so I made another Hybrid card using the elements, from the kit.

Again I have ,used the elements from the Kit,then added a piece of Tims's card then decoupaged the elements, added a real pencil, key and charm, then distressed with bundled sage.

Just want to thank all the lovely ladies who have just added to my list of followers, bless you guys I still get so excited when I see,new people,so thank you so much.
Love Cherylxxxxxxxxx

What a lovely selection of cards Cheryl. You can do so many styles of card, no wonder people are asking you to make a special card for them.

Poor Alfie, what a fright he must have got. Glad he's not badly hurt. Our last dogs were a Cocker and a chocolate Lab. Lucy was about 4 when we got Maddy (the Lab) and they were always great friends from the day Maddy arrived as a wee puppy. Until Lucy's eyesight got really bad and then Maddy seemed to turn against her. She sometimes turned on her and grabbed her by the neck and head and sometimes drew blood. It was very scary!! The vet said she might have been stressed because Lucy tended to wander about lost. Maybe Alice has been feeling a wee bit jealous since Alfie is so devoted to you. Funny how dogs can have the same insecurities as people isn't it?!!

No wonder you get sooo many orders Cheryl, these cards are again so beautoful!!!!! Thanks for the link to that new shop, their embellies are awesome!!!

Where to start Cheryl, lovely piece using those new embellies and the second one with the pink and floral border is beautiful.

Hope Alfie gets on OK, have to admit I'm surprised Poppy hasn't come to any grief yet, she really is giving the big dogs a hard time of it. Despite her size and being only three months old she thinks she is a match for them all. And would you believe the one who is most tolerant of her antics is the biggest of the pack, Bernie the St Bernard's.

These are all stunning and yes, your customers will be so thankful! Poor Alfie! Alice is just letting him know that she is top dog and may not like sharing her mom's affection. Puppies have so much energy and older dogs just don't always want to be bothered. In time they will get along fine, but it is scary when they don't! Have a good day and hopefully "vet" free!

Theresa said...

Simply gorgeous!

Aww, I'm sure Alfie will be fine. They just have to sort out the ranking order thats all :) Its little things like giving Alice her food or treats first and saying her name first etc helps establish her as the boss of the pack.

A new pup has to 'earn' his place in a pack and so we have been introducing our pup gradually as they have a habit of annoying older dogs and wanting them to play all the time.

It will all settle down in time, but new pups also dont have awareness of body language from other dogs and so just bounce around :)

Your cards are so eclectic and inspirational Cheryl, I am a huge fan of your style and I love ALL the elements on these, they are mesmerising :)

Have a smashing weekend hun!

Hey sweet lady -just reading the news about Alice biting Alfie. I would have gone bonkers. Is Alfie kind of staying clean of Alice now? I want you to know just how much I love this card you have made here. I love the texture the and the fact that you design so well. I like the way Lorraine put it she is "gobsmacked." I need to put that word in my vocabulary.!!!! Your
blog gobsmackes me! Well my physical therapist should be here at anytime. Never would have guessed there was so much pain with a broken hip. I am going to that new store you just told us about.
Sandy said...

Oh Cheryl so sorry to hear that Alice bit Alfie and imagine that she is feeling a little jealous of him right now you must have been so scared poor you. As for your creations what can I say that I haven't already said. That program you use is amazing but it is you the user that makes it all the more special. Not surprise you have so many commissions your work is outstanding.
